May not be a big secret in the collector circles, but I am a massive Lewis Hamilton fan. As my bio says, it was Lewis that got me to fall back in love with F1! I am lucky enough to have a 1:18 car from each of his years in F1, and I have all of his general release helmets and some special customs.

Well 2008!! After the disappointment of missing out on the title in 2007, this year was a great year...Was so close in Brazil, but after overtaking Timo on at the very last moment, shaped this Man from Stevenage carrier! Here we have a General release half scale helmet with lots of extras. 1:18 MP4/23 with a 1:18 Pit board and 1:12 Amalgam Nosecone.

Well, 2009...The number 1 on the car, the world at his feet...On reflection it was really the start of McLaren’s fall from Grace of the previous two years of being a dominant force....The MP4/24 was not a great car for a champion, and due to the explosive start of the Brawn GP car McLaren never really stood a chance. Still managed to get a winning car at least... Here we have the 2009 general release half scale helmet and a 1:18 car. This and the MP4/27 are probably my favourite designs that Lewis drove at McLaren!

2007, the Championship year that should have been....A rookie year with a 2 time world champion team mate....well it had it all...Spy Gate, Alonso throwing his dummy out of the Pham with this young buck asserting himself and flexing his muscles...A bad call by the team in China meant that Kimi managed to pip Lewis to the championship by just 1 point! A lot of lessons were learnt in this year, and I think it has what helped Lewis to be the champion he is today! Not many items released from 2007, no half scale helmet, but here we have a 1:18 Minichamps car.

This year was the biggest test for Lewis since 07 as far as team mates go, Jenson Button joined from Brawn and was a great gage for Lewis to compete against. Here we have a general release half scale with a lot of extras added...Also a 1:18 Canada qualifying special with figure.

Well, 2006 was a whirlwind year for Lewis! Winning the GP2 championship at Monza put him on the rollercoaster that is F1. At Silverstone he had his first roll out, which this car is a 1:18 model.
